4/28/11 Tulips!

My tulips waited until we got home from Florida to bloom!  They are even better this year than last - so full with color that just pops!  I hope they do okay next year after I move them for the new landscaping.

4/27/11 Baby Bluebirds

Well the bluebird eggs hatched while we were gone - it looks like they didn't hatch too long ago though.

4/26/11 Cockpit

Rhys and Jim got to sit in the cockpit after our flight was over and Rhys got to say hi to the pilot - so nice of them!

4/21/11 Juvenille Little Blue Heron

I went in search of the baby gators today for a picture and instead found this juvenille Little Blue Heron.  So beautiful especially with the lighting the way it was.  This was actually the only photo that I took of this little guy and I just knew it would be a good one!

4/20/11 Bossons Head Owl

My parents have had Bossons heads as long as I can remember.  This one of the owl has always been my favorite.  If you look closely you can see where it broke on one of the moves, but we were able to glue it back together again.

4/19/11 Molly Dolly

This is my parents dog Molly. She is a shepherd/lab rescue from Syracuse SPCA and 11.5 years old. Such a love bug!

4/15/11 Why my dogs love when I leave...

So my dogs do not miss me when I go on vacation. Why you ask?  Because they go to Camp Forman and run and play until their hearts content!  Here we have Buck, Indy, Ice and Chase all running around like crazy.  The to old men have a hard time keeping up, but still have a lot of fun.  Indy and Ice were so happy to have someone to really let loose with running wise!

Today is another rainy day here in CNY and my tulips are nearing their end so they are staying open during the gray weather.  It made for a beautiful contrast.

04/11/11 Beavers?

Looks like there are some beavers at Mount Hope.  I found several small tree stumps like this one, but no where could I find evidence of the top part of the trees that were felled.  Not quite sure where they dragged them to.

What could possibly be better than fresh home made cookies and a glass of ice cold milk?  In my mind - nothing!

4/09/11 The Flowers and the Bees

Well I think spring has finally sprung.  The bees were out today going from flower to flower.  I love how you can see the whole tulip in this photo.
