Tonight had the most amazing lighting and I managed to catch Poppa Bluebird waiting to take a nice fat grub to the babies.

6/11/11 Country Road Sighting

One of the things I love about driving on back country roads is you never know what you'll see.  I saw these two beautiful horses on the way to the tack shop today.

6/9/11 ahhhh....So Refreshing!

I think Indy has a look of pure contentment in this photo - like this is exactly where he wants to be at this moment in time.  Given the heat I am sure that was true!

6/8/11 Cleaned and Ready to go!

Rhys starts riding again on Sat June 18th so I got the old saddle and helmets out today to make sure everything is in order.  The saddle was in desperate need of a good cleaning so I got out the supplies and buffed it up!  Looks pretty good for being 14 years old!

Went back to Mt. Hope today with Jim and the dogs and we saw this little chipmunk hiding in the trees.

6/6/11 Mt.Hope Gorgeous Day

We had the perfect weather for hiking today -not too hot, not too humid and beautifully sunny!  So the dogs and I ventured out for a 90 minute hike at Mt. Hope. I got some wonderful shots, but I think this one turned out just stunning.

We have a male and female Red Winged Black Birds that come to our feeder - but never together.  Here is the male - very handsome!
